We are very grateful to the California Fire Foundation for their recent $15,000 grant to CARDA directed to training our K9 teams in searching burned environments.
In the coming year, CARDA will be able to send more than 30 new teams to the POST Training (Search Methods and ID in a Burned Environment) as well as allow teams to be reimbursed for some critical PPE for themselves and their K9s. We stand ready to help the California Office of Emergency Services deploy search and rescue K9s across the State in response to wildfires.
We are honored and very grateful for the support of this legendary foundation.
