Comments from Tracee Walker, CARDA President. “Our CARDA Lifetime achievement awards this year goes to a member that has served on the Board many years ago. He has been a TGL in the East Bay for along as I/Tracee have been around. He has been a dispatcher. He has worked nearly 350 searches over the course of his career. As an evaluator he has given approximately 200 tests. He has sponsored and mentored over a dozen handlers to mission ready status. He has certified with 3 mission ready canines (editor note: actually 4) in area, C1 and C2. I had the pleasure to get to know him at an out of state search. And while his career might be slowly winding down, CARDA’s appreciation of his considerable contributions he has made over his 28 year career remains steadfast. This years Lifetime Achievement award is presented to Eric Sheets.”
